Coming Soon stuff

Hello Friends,

For past few days I was very busy as I was working with launching of a New Store, Imaginations, along with the normal Store it will also have an online store which can be found at : I am still in process of getting stuffs to fill the store.

The reason behind this store is that I always loved Books and Craft, and there are few online/offline store for Crafts so I decided to take the initiative and start a Books and Craft Store in my city. There are also some lovely crafter out there to get you all the stuff you need from US, notable ones are: Karuna (Crafting Queen), Ujjwal, and Khyati at reasonable rates. Till date I find all these three lovely ladies very prompt and reliable and I will also try to have same reputation with my store as I have for them.

In future I will keep all the big things like Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Dies, Embossing Folders and other Craft Stuff in my store as ready stock and that too at very reasonable prices. I will do my best to get good crafting goodies and good deals.

But thats the tip of the Iceberg. The real good news is as follows:

1. By this Sunday, I will start a blog Candy, so do come back.
2. There will be a separate blog candy for customers of my store and all my past customers.
3. There will be a regular store credit giveaway for my blog readers.

More I am planning...

So stay tuned with the blog.

I had been planning a good BIG giveaway for quite some time for celebrating the success of my little craft store. But still we are proud to say that we have completed 250 orders to about 50 customers in the last 6 months. And I want to share this success with you all.

Sale - Darice Permanent Adhesive Double Sided Tape Runner

Darice Permanent Adhesive Double Sided Tape Runner

Permanent adhesive goes on easily and bonds quickly for a permanent bond. Double sided means its great for scrapbooking, cardmaking, and crafts in general.

This easy to use dispenser applies double faced adhesive from a compact, easy to use applicator. Used just like correction tape, the glue bonds instantly, cleanly, and wrinkle free.

Perfect for use in scrapbooking, card making, and photo or embellishment mounting applications.

, ACID-FREE and non-refillable.

7 meters (285" per roller). Each includes a protective cap for storage or travel.

1 pc/pkg.

Price: INR 300 per piece. Shipping as per actual.

My Personal Review:

I liked it a lot as it is the most easy way to apply double sided tape on any project. I do have regular double sided tape which is a lot cheaper than this but the trouble in using that tape is a lot, all those who are using the regular double sided tape know the hassles involved. Applying this tape is breeze, just slide where you want to apply and take of the runner the tape will be applied. Its a good alternate to use on papers where using glue makes the paper wet. I love it, though the price is a bit high, but for using it on scrapbooks it is great. Being Acid Free it is safe for archiving photos on your scrapbook. Also since it is permanent so you won't find the photos sticking out with a little force.

If you have regular double sided tape and have no problem in using them then I will say its not useful for you, but if you are fed up with wet glue or don't have double sided tape then this is a great option.

These are non-refillable use and throw tape runners.

I will be using it a lot in my projects thats for sure.

Simple Card

After so much time today I finally got chance to make card, Recently I purchased Paper Mania papers, baker's twine and some punches from Neha Gala (A1Craft Supply) and I must say that the Paper Mania Papers are lovely. The Twine is more lovely than any other crafts supply I have. Punches were cool and cheap as compared to Martha Stewart or any other brand.

So I decided to make a quick card from these supplies and here is the card :

Supplies: Paper Mania 8x8 Paper, Colored Card Stock, Baker's Twine, Die cut Shape (Which Lucy Colaco Sent me) , Butterfly: Used JEF Butterfly punch on glitter paper.

The card was quick and look good, I hope you will like it.

Note Books and Mini Note Pads

Here are two small creations using Silhouette's Print and Cut feature.

Note Books

These are small Note Pads which carry around 30 A5 papers to write on.

The mini flowers cut on these note books are the best thing as it brings some dimension to it.

Both are made with 1 A4 Sheet each.

Mini Note Pads

These are some mini matchbox size notepads. They all are made for fun and useful for writing small notes.

All the Six were made using 1 A4 Sheet and everyone has a cute little flower cut on their front side.

Mini Candy Gift House

Finally I got some time to make something, as for past few days I was busy taking care of my wife and kids especially my Son as my wife was taking care of my daughter. And today finally she is going to kitchen, now my tea schedule will come back on time (I drink a lot of tea and coffer). Anyway, since now she is able to handle kitchen so I am free to craft once more. So today I created some Mini Gift Houses in which I can put candy and give to all those little kids who are coming to my home to see the baby.

Though the credit to this project goes to Silhouette SD as the cutting is done by Silhouette and I did only the glue part :). Now I am using the machine more and more. Here is the pic of the House:

This whole model is made using one Photo Paper with the texture printed on it and then I cut it using Silhouette SD. the roof of the house can be opened and it can carry around 8 Melody.

I made around 20 of this and the best part of it that they all were made under 2 hours so a really great time saving.

Today I will try to make some more stuffs and I will upload soon.
