Engagement Card

Hi,

First of all a good news, my Sister's wedding is fixed and it was all done so fast that the time for preparation is very less. Her engagement is on 20th Jan 2012 and Wedding on 9th Feb 2012. You all can understand the rush.

Now the craft side, I decided to design the Engagement Cards as the quantity requirement was low (we needed around 70-75 cards only) and time was short. I had to make all of them in Just 2 days (1 day already passed). Since the objective was to make quick cards which can be made in bulk (I have to use the supplies I have, can't wait for supplies from US). I was think on designs then suddenly a lovely, clean and simple design from Ujjwal came to my mind and I knew something like this would be great for my card and easy to make. You can check her design at : Ujjwal's Card

Anyway, I used White Cardstock instead of colored ones as I printed the inside text. For Pattern Paper I used Shades of Love Paper Packs and some assorted leftover papers from Love Letters, Desert Bloom and Be Mine Paper Packs.

The Tag was made by Silhouette Cameo (Print and cut)
I used Prima Flower North Country Avalon Rose with every tag to make is look pretty. On some Cards I used butterfly stickers from Pie Lane.

For Inside I printed Text on Photo Paper, I created the text and design on Photoshop. After printing and cutting the photo paper I used Cuttelbug Border Embossing Folder (Organic).

This card was easy and fast to make and I was able to make 50 cards in the first day, now today I will finish the remaining 25 cards (Thanks to my wife who took care of kids while I was working, otherwise I could not have made even 2 cards in one day :) ).

One more thing I want to tell which you also have noticed, the photos of the cards have been improved from my previous cards photos that is because I followed some tips from Mallika, actually I am very bad at taking photos of Cards, she gave me some tips and suggestions, although I was not able to follow all her tips but still the quality of photos is now better than my old photos.

Challenges:

Though I never thought this month I will be able to participate in any challenge but since this month's ICR challenge is Clean, Simple and Reproducible. So I am entering this card into ICR 14 Challenge
