#September Challenge #Heat Embossing...

Hello Peeps,
I'm back here with yet another post for Imgination Online for our September Challenge which is Heat Embossing.
Here is my take on the Challenge. A Name Plate.

Background: First stamp with Versamark watermark stamp pad and heat set it. Then distress it with required colours. (I have used Pine needles, Shabby Shutters and Peacock feathers)
Then re-stamp with the same stamp with Versamark watermark stamp pad, overlapping the the earlier design a little and put golden embossing powder and heat it.
Then using a water mist, mist the background and heat it again.

Flowers: I have Blossoms art stamp set by Heroarts.
Stamp, distress and fussy cut the flower. Apply Glossy accents in some portions of the flowers and put Clear Rock candy fine distress glitter.

Alpha-Numericals: Take Alpha-Numeric cut-outs and cover with 3D Mod podge or Glossy accents.
Isn't that really easy..??
Do try it out and make one for yourselves too..

Hope you liked the effort..
Do share your love in the form of likes and comments.

Thanks and Regards,

A Mason Jar

 Hello People,

This is my first post for Imaginations as a GDT. I am here to share, a mason jar turned into a name board banner for my colleague – Mansi. After the work in office done all day, I guess crafting is the only stress buster. Here is the pic of the banner created exactly in 20 minutes.

A pic, showing a more closer look.

Lemme write a bit about the procedure I followed to make this.
I haven’t used a die to cut the jar, instead I had got a mason jar template printed on a white paper and stuck the same on a card stock. I then had used my cutting skills and had cut out the paper neatly, and did matting with pattern paper. For the jar cap, I used bright yellow paper to go with the pattern paper I chose. To show definition on the jar, I used white colored card stock paper and drew a lace like structure and then placed it on my jar just below the cap.
Now it’s time for acute detailing, I distressed all the borders.
  1. Mason jar body with ever green bough and walnut stain.
  2. The cap and the lace filler with mustard seed and walnut stain.
I used the following supplies for the further embellishment of my project.
  1. Memory box classic upper case die for the name ‘Mansi’.
  2. Roses, ribbons, fillers and pollens from my stash.
  3. The yellow button embellished from Imaginations.
  4. The pattern paper used was from DCWV floral stack.
I found the result satisfactory; you can create tags, banners, scrapbooks and embellish your project with using as many themes as desirable.
At Imaginations we also sell kits for the same, for more details feel free to write back to us on Vishakha@imaginationsonline.com or Aditya@imaginationsonline.com.
Thanks for stopping by.

Inking with embossing folders

 Hi crafty peeps,

Hope you all are doing fine.

This month's challenge is embossing - could be dry embossing or wet embossing.

Here I am sharing with you a technique of coloring along with embossing.

These are what I used

An embossing folder when opened up has two parts. I have inked the side which has the raised area between the designs.

I then placed my card stock very carefully in between the folders and to avoid any shift of the card stock, I secured the sides using a scotch tape.

I then embossed it on my machine. And voila, this is how my card stock looked. Its got the light blue color of my ink pad on the areas that are debossed. I immediately washed my embossing folder.

And I quickly ran some distress inks on the sides and stuck it on a card stock - added a little bow.

Hope you like the tutorial.
