A Mason Jar

 Hello People,

This is my first post for Imaginations as a GDT. I am here to share, a mason jar turned into a name board banner for my colleague – Mansi. After the work in office done all day, I guess crafting is the only stress buster. Here is the pic of the banner created exactly in 20 minutes.

A pic, showing a more closer look.

Lemme write a bit about the procedure I followed to make this.
I haven’t used a die to cut the jar, instead I had got a mason jar template printed on a white paper and stuck the same on a card stock. I then had used my cutting skills and had cut out the paper neatly, and did matting with pattern paper. For the jar cap, I used bright yellow paper to go with the pattern paper I chose. To show definition on the jar, I used white colored card stock paper and drew a lace like structure and then placed it on my jar just below the cap.
Now it’s time for acute detailing, I distressed all the borders.
  1. Mason jar body with ever green bough and walnut stain.
  2. The cap and the lace filler with mustard seed and walnut stain.
I used the following supplies for the further embellishment of my project.
  1. Memory box classic upper case die for the name ‘Mansi’.
  2. Roses, ribbons, fillers and pollens from my stash.
  3. The yellow button embellished from Imaginations.
  4. The pattern paper used was from DCWV floral stack.
I found the result satisfactory; you can create tags, banners, scrapbooks and embellish your project with using as many themes as desirable.
At Imaginations we also sell kits for the same, for more details feel free to write back to us on or
Thanks for stopping by.
